City Coop’s mission is simple: to make food—and the experience of accessing it—friendly. Our brand identity for this Seattle-based food cooperative celebrates vibrant, expressive, and high-energy visual storytelling anchored in bold type, joyful color, and playful character mascots.

At City Coop, we believe in food that’s friendly to your body, an organization that’s friendly to the community, and business practices that are friendly to the planet. Through a design system that radiates warmth and approachability, City Coop champions sustainability, supports local agriculture, and builds bridges between neighbors in the heart of the city.

This project’s scope included:
1. Developing a cohesive visual identity system
2. Creating brand mascots and illustration assets
3. Crafting messaging centered on friendliness, sustainability, and local pride
4. Delivering a toolkit for social, digital, and print communications
